Common questions

Do I need to buy POS hardware? +
No. The staff app runs in any modern phone browser — Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android. Add it to the home screen once and your servers launch it like a native app, full-screen, no browser chrome. If your team already has phones, you have everything you need.
What's required to turn it on? +
A paid plan with Dynamic Menus and Tabs enabled, plus at least one staff member invited as an employee. You can set this up in a few minutes from your owner dashboard.
Can my whole team see every table? +
Yes. Every signed-in waiter sees the same color-coded grid and the same live tickets. Manager-only actions like voids and comps are guarded by a PIN, so the floor can't override pricing without approval.
Does it work without internet? +
It needs internet to fire orders to the kitchen and process payments. The app handles brief disconnects gracefully — if the wifi blips for a few seconds while you're sending an order, the app retries automatically.
