Take the order, take the payment,

Quick service, the way a counter actually runs

Pay-first ordering that fits a busy line, a walk-up window, or a food truck at a festival.

Paid before it hits the kitchen

The customer pays, then the ticket fires to your kitchen. No open tabs, no chasing payment after the food is gone, no surprises at the end of a rush.

Pickup names, not table numbers

Counter service isn't tied to a table. The customer leaves a name for pickup, and that name rides on the kitchen ticket so your team can call it out when it's ready.

They watch it on their own phone

After paying, the customer gets an order number and a live status page on their phone. It updates as the kitchen works, so they know when to step up to the counter.

Pay First

Customers pay before they order

The cart's button is Pay & order, not Place order. The customer pays first, and only then does the order get created and sent to the kitchen. No tabs to open, manage, or close.

  • One Pay & order button, no tabs
  • Pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
  • Order fires only after payment clears
  • Cart stays editable right up to checkout
Pickup Names

A name for pickup, straight on the ticket

Skip table numbers entirely. The customer enters a name at checkout, it lands on the kitchen ticket with the order, and your team calls the name when the food is up.

  • Customer enters a pickup name at checkout
  • Name shows on the kitchen ticket
  • No table codes, no seating map
  • Works for walk-ups, windows, and trucks
Live Status

Customers follow their order on their phone

Right after paying, the customer lands on a live order page with their number and total. It updates on its own as the kitchen moves the ticket along, so nobody hovers at the counter asking if it's ready.

  • Order number shown big and clear
  • Status updates on its own, no refresh
  • Shows the items and the total paid
  • Optional text when the order is ready

Counter service questions

What kind of places is counter service for? +
Coffee shops, lunch counters, taquerias, food trucks, bars, and any spot where customers order at a counter, pay first, and pick up when it's ready. If you don't run table tabs, this is the mode for you. You pick counter service in your restaurant settings, and the whole ordering flow switches to pay-first.
How do customers pay? +
From their own phone. They scan your QR code, browse the menu, add to the cart, and tap Pay & order. Payment runs through Stripe and accepts card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The order is created and sent to the kitchen only after the payment goes through, so you're never preparing food that wasn't paid for. Counter service is on the Pro plan, and a transparent 1% fee applies per card payment.
What if I need to refund an order? +
Refund the whole order in one tap from the kitchen display. The customer gets their money back through Stripe, the order is marked cancelled, and your kitchen sees it stop. It's the clean way to handle an item you ran out of or a mistake on the line.
Do I need any special hardware? +
No. There's nothing to buy and nothing to install. Customers order from their own phones, and your kitchen ticket shows up on any phone, tablet, or computer you already have. No registers, no terminals, no card readers.
